A year at our school

The Bird Opera

20 of our students who have demonstrated high potential in the creative domain had a wonderful time workshopping an opera performance at the Conservatorium of Music on Friday. All participants reported having a wonderful time as they workshopped ideas and made props for their Brid Opera which will be rehearsed and performed in 2026. What an exciting opportunity for our Heaton students.

Infants Excursion

Our K-2 students had a fantastic day at the Hunter Valley Wildlife Park, exploring up close and learning about the animals’ habitats. The excursion built curiosity, friendships and confidence, while bringing classroom learning to life.

Stage 3 Excursion to Riverwood Downs

The Stage 3 camp offers our students wonderful opportunities to connect with nature, build lasting memories and embrace new challenges. Designed to foster teamwork, trust and resilience, the camp helps our cohort grow both personally and as a community.

Stage 2 Excursion

Stage 2 had a wonderful excursion at the Awabakal Environmental Centre.
